the one that wants to raise the capital gains tax during a recession with a horrible housing market, what a great idea! make it cost more to sell your house!? that will turn this economy around in no time! and it doesnt stop there.. why not take money from those making that little profit(if any) from the stock market with a nice dividend tax?

Sarah Palin probably isn't technically stupid, but she's not smart enough to actually know what she's talking about. I don't completely blame her though. I mean if someone threw you the chance to be arguably the 2nd most powerful person in the world wouldn't you jump on it? And it's not like they gave her any warning. It'd be like throwing a 10th grader in college and having them take a 6 months final (with their consent because she did ACCEPT the position). It's not fair, but they set themselves up for failure.
