Eminemnow wrote:^^ "Must Be The Ganja" is fucking awesome. Classic hook and verses. The only thing that lets it down a bit is Dre's production, his drums are always so fucking loud they drown out Em's voice.
I would swap "Insane" with "My Darling" and "Crack a Bottle" with "Careful What You Wish For".
"My Darling" is perfect, the idea of him struggling with his demons etc. "Insane" is a good track, nice flow and chorus etc. but it's pretty much just a throwaway track, I think "My Darling" would of been way better in its place.
and "Crack a Bottle" is 'good' minus 50's verse. You can totally tell it was made for 50's album and it sounds completely out of place, ESPECIALLY right after "Beautiful", I really don't get what Em was thinking there. I know it was a #1 but so what, surely he must know it sounds out of place.
"Careful What You Wish For" would of fit in perfectly after "Beautiful" - Same feel and mood because it was made around the same period quite evidently. It also deals with his fame and pressure etc and he's telling you to be careful what you wish for. Perfectly fitting theme right after "Beautiful" and a nice heavy short track to preceed the powerhouse lyricism of "Underground".

I love Medicine Ball, it's got a Dr. Evil feel to it. Same Song and Dance I think is brilliant too.
A lot of people don't like it because they say it's too laid back or think he's uninspired but they obviously don't get the point of the track lol.
He purposely did it like that to mock these so called tracks that basically are just the same song and dance and also he said to make women in clubs dance to it without really thinking what they were dancing to because they're not actually listening to the lyrics.
So I think once that concept is fully realized, plus the actual situation itself and the what's happening in the song, I think it's hilarious. The lyrics and flow are awesome too... "Come on toots, gimmie the Valium, alley-oop" - classic.
