The ass-in-face on Eminem from Borat himself WAS staged, but with a twist...Cohen was supposed to fly from the harness onto Eminem's lap, then present the award, instead of flying down near Em's face, with Cohen's ass right up in their. It was the most talked about moment at the MTV Movie Awards Sunday, but sources close to MTV say that the Sacha Baron Cohen’s infamous crotch-landing in Eminem’s face was all part of a grand comedic plan.

According to the Hollywood Insider, sources confirmed that Eminem was fully aware and consented to participate in what seemed like a brilliant prank. Dressed as his character Bruno, in white angel wings and a thong, Cohen flew into the audience from a high-wire harness and landed crotch-first into the face of the seemingly-angry rapper.

The audience watched with nervous laughter as Bruno landed with his legs wrapped around Eminem’s head, saying “Eminem, nice to meet you.”

Eminem can be heard cursing and saying “Are you serious?” before his entourage pushes the comedian off the rapper. Cohen later says, “Don’t touch me guys, I’ve already got a boyfriend! Is this the real Slim Shady about to stand up?”

Eminem and his entourage later stormed out of the show.

But even comedy writer Scott Aukerman, who says he was one of the head writers for the show, claims that the whole act was staged, and that the rapper and comedian even rehearsed the skit.

“Yes, the Bruno/Eminem incident was staged,” he wrote. “That’s all anyone wants to talk about, so lets get it out of the way … They rehearsed it at dress and yes, it went as far as it did on the live show then.”

According to a report in the U.K’s Sun, Paris Hilton was intended to be Bruno’s victim, but refused participation.

The perennial party-girl was reportedly approached by producer Mark Burnett, but turned it down, and was “quite happy” she did.

This is bullshit though, they've taken a quote that proves it was all an act, and have turned it the way that tells a bit of truth but still has some controversy

In alot of other articles that Quote has been used in the way it's obviously meant to be. "They rehearsed it at dress and yes, it went as far as it did on the live show then" = Means that nothing surprised anyone, or changed, or else he'd go.. "They did it less intimate in the rehearsal, but Sasha changed it without Em knowing".

I think it's turning out to be the truth.

that doesn't make sense, rehearsal or not...Eminem got mad over a fucking puppet- why would he be tickled pink & happy over a British dude's asshole & ass-cheeks in his face? He wouldn't be lol.

So I agree with the Fox News reports....that it was staged, but staged for Sacha to sit on Em's lap or come down near Em, something to that sort, instead of putting his sweaty ass & ass cheeks in Marshall's face.

He admitted in his book that he was pissed that they'd put him next to Moby, and that he had no idea who Triumph was, so it was his first reaction. Not a statement of what he's like.

The gayest character landing in a sexual position on the most intimidating serious looking guy in the audience, it was perfect. Em's up for most things for a laugh, and knew that this would get his name around, i mean he's got an album out. I mean i know that some people will call anything gay or homo. But to be honest, nothing touched anything else, it was just the image.

True...and I can see and understand being pissed at sitting next to Moby, but as far as Triumph goes- a fucking puppet? Being mad at a fucking puppet and going as far as putting it in a track or two on Encore is ridiculous lol. Em just got mad at stupid shit over the Triumph incident- inappropriate or not.

He said in the book that he just saw a guy shoving a Puppet in his face, and his first instinct was to get it the fuck away from him. He said that he should've handled it way better.

So with that, it was more believable. Cos celebs and that knew his mardy history to jokes in the awards. And Em fans were thinking "well walking away shows that he was trying to handle it better".

I think they've manipulated expectations and stereotypes to the max here.
