this is gonna be SICKK!!!!!!

Introducing Project Natal, a revolutionary new way to play: no controller required. See a ball? Kick it, hit it, trap it or catch it. If you know how to move your hands, shake your hips or speak you and your friends can jump into the fun -- the only experience needed is life experience.-xbox

Erm, yeah, i personally don't want to have to get up and fight the invisible man everytime i want to play Street Fighter.

Don't get the obsession with people getting rid of controllers and including more motion into gaming; controllers is the way people have enjoyed playing games ever since games came out. It's easier. It's more relaxing. It's better for the lazy fuckers, which makes up the majority of gaming's audience. Even most Wii games don't take that much effort to operate, it's only the sports games and wii fit that really take that much effort.

It looks cool but gimmicky. Whatever though... I can't wait to see what's going to turn out of this.

It looks fucking cool, however, I dunno if it will be practical...I mean, in that commercial it looked pretty awesome, but I doubt if it will be in real life. I suppose I should I wait and see for myself.

That thing was totally bullshit. Expect this to be a pain in the ass and never work how it is supposed to.

I have never been a fan of motion gaming. I much rather prefer the precision of two joysticks. Sony even came up with a 1:1 motion controller that follows your every move, but even that will be just another gimmick.

Expect the next generation of gaming (PS4, Xbox 720) to be all about body involvement. :n: Thanks Nintendo.

P.S. - You really think you're going to be able to try on dresses? This whole thing was fake.

I totally agree. Those have always been my thoughts but, what if you can choose to do both? Sit down, relax, play through your controller or get up and mess around like an idiot to the camera. That's good then, just choose.

yeah, & it's not like it's going to work on every game. The controller is still going to be the main thing you use (unless they fuck the next xbox up)

But this shit would be fun every now and again. Imagine using this while drunk haha :8)

That would be horrible if Xbox or even Play Station got into Wii style and made their connsoles motion sensing consoles. They need to remain with their controllers but with the console having cool features such as that.

Drunk, in a party, playing that shit would be pretty awesome. Everyone moving around like a bunch of retards, getting the lowest score possible on the game.

^Exactly, what if your living room/bedroom is too small for that 'jumping around' shit.

Still it looks fucking awesome.

^ The thing is we used to say the same thing but for the Wii. All of this "i'd rather sit down" or "it's for fat people" was also said about the Wii so it doesn't matter.

i can see this thing not working. look at how cool the wii was supposed to be. all awesome and make it feel like you're whoever you're playin as. look at it now. wave the remote up and down... now side to side. wow. so instead of making some games for the controller and some for the remote when necessary, all the games are made with wii mote in mind even if it really shouldn't be. then of course when the sensor doesn't realized you jiggled the remote to do something.

that's how i see this thing to be. imagine playing a shooter game and you go to duck behind cover, but it doesn't realize you ducked and so you stand behind a wall that goes up to your waist instead and die. you're playin a game that requires you to sword fight (perhaps the next elder scrolls for example). you're strafing around your opponent, what happens? you run out of room in your room to strafe. or maybe you're swinging your arm to fast and the machine can't keep up. and what about the traditional JRPG's that come out every now and again like Lost Odyssey? are you gonna stand up and run till the next random encounter, stop, point at the screen for the option you want, win the fight, then run some more? way to tiring. they're prolly gonna put that motion feature in every game just for the sake of doing it.

too many problems i see happening. they should just turn it into a mini console and call it MBox 360 (motion box). so they can make games specifically for it and not fuck with the 360.

^ Yarr you have a point and that's what I thought especially about the Wii thing but, who said this thing was going to be used for shooters or RPGs? Maybe they did and I didn't pick that up but I think this is meant to be first of all but games meant for fun and for none-core gamers and also menu fucking around.

yea hopefully that's all it's meant for. which i wouldn't mind, as long as it doesn't infect all the other games that we could be enjoying through regular means.
