08/06/09 Maino Talks About T.I. Doing Time

New York rapper Maino recently talked about how T.I. will handle his time in prison. Maino, who was released from prison in 2003, first talked about his relationship with TIP saying "Me and Tip talk all the time," he said in a recent interview. [watch here] "And actually, I was at his house the day before, which was Sunday, the day before he went in. He went in Monday. I was at his house, we talked briefly and we talked other times." [watch here]

Maino then went on to talk about how he thinks T.I. will handle his time in prison. "You know, he's a dude that's been through struggle already. It ain't like he ain't never been to jail before. It's just a hard pill to swallow when you got so much going on. He's a strong dude and I know he's gonna get through it. He knows what it is when he goes in there, he knows how to handle himself and the focus, goal, is to get back there to his family and to his business, music, money and do what you gotta do. In and out. He gonna be all right." [watch here]

Hopefully he'll be out sooner rather than later. There was a post before that said he'd only spend a few months in there as opposed to that whole 366 days.

If he really gets off with a few months, I won't even know what to say to that. Wasn't the max like 15 years?? I know he was supposed to get a year, but still
