PS3 controller in computer?

Would a PS3 controller work in a computer using a usb cable?

no b/c sony made a button in the center of controller which turns it on and so it doesn't work on computers, i've tried it already

you just have to find the right drivers. look for "GameSaike sixaxis driver" that's what i used to use, played tons of emulators with it.

i see the link but it just won't d/l, i came across a dif. one but i need to install bluetooth drivers. so i may need help finding free software for xp

so why use the PS3 controller with the PC? can u play PC games using this computer? if thats the case then just play the same game on the PS3
