15/06/09 Eminem Goes Platinum; BEP Take No.1

The Black Eyed Peas are currently on pace to sell between 215-250,000 copies in their first week, placing their "The E.N.D." album in the number one spot. Eminem's "Relapse" should easily pass the platinum mark and currently with close to 40% of the nation reporting, he's in the third spot.

Other noteable aritsts on this week include Pleasure P who looks to sell around 40,000 copies and Mos Def who is projected to push around 30,000 copies of his "The Ecstatic."

According to HITS Eminem sold 84,813 this week, while BEP sold 308,085, which was alot more than they predicted originally.

My friend lent me the album and well...it's ok from the not too many songs I've listene to. I gotta listen to it much more to decide if it's any good. It ain't very hip-hopish
