I was just listenin to some Ems diss tracks (to everlast and ray benzino). I noticed that he is makin fun of them about how they too old to rap ("Im pushin 30's, youre kickin 40's door down"). He's doin that also in I remember and Nail in the coffin. Well, Em will be 40 soon. Does that mean he's goin to quit after Relapse 2?

No. I don't think em is retiring soon. why would he then make that song hello? it should be goodbye. Em has not made enough albums to retire. It seems like just yesterday when he came out with My Name Is. It really does. and now he's done??? fuck!!!! crazy. Anyways just because of the NUMBER 40? em doesn't even look old to me. DR DRE is going to come out with detox. that means em should rap for 10 more years. what's wrong with the age? fuck. rappers have no age limit i thought. It's not basketball. Only one more album after R2? are you SURE?? I think it would be cool for em to rap in his 40's. tupac would.

For any rapper, age isn't a factor much like you've said.. Examples) Jay Z, Dre However, with the comments that Em made during his beefs and his other songs, about age, then for him, it would be a bit hypocritical to keep rapping once he's 40.

I believe it does. Look at us. A lot of us been listening to Eminem since he started out, and we're still listening to him and staying loyal. I'd say that's a pretty hardcore fan base considering his music doesn't exactly maturing... and we're starting to get "old", so all this raps about murdering women and getting raped by step-dads, which I would say is targeting a younger crowd, still pleases us, even though it's fucking immature.

What? Rap hasn't even been around in full blast for a full 40 years. Who's had a chance to be a rap fan "their whole life?" And anyways everyone I know that likes rap has liked rap through it's ups and downs ever since they've been a fan. I've never known someone to grow out of rap or w/e you're talking about. Their tastes may change, they may not like the new shit and only bump the old, but they're always in love with the music. Maybe it's just the areas we live in or something...
