i think asher is pretty cool and has potential, i also have a feeling em and asher will do a track together.. some are saying they might perform together at BET awards lol (would be one of those one in a million things but it could happen..)

i hate when dumb motherfuckers just say things wont happen just cuz they dont want them too, or dont think they will. Like they have any input on what eminem does, or any inside information on him. For all we know they already have a song recorded or planned out. Eminem worked with the other 2 (B.o.B., Charles Hamilton) of the three major freshman of rap (B.o.B. Charles N Asher) and he says he's ready to start collabing, and he said multiple times he thinks asher is dope AND he shouted him out in a freestyle, so what the fuck would make you just flat out say "They will not do a track together" when all signs point to yes? DUMB FUCKS need to know a little bit of info before they just try to contradict somebody with nothing to back their retarted statements up.

They sound absolutely nothing like each other to me. It's like saying Jay-Z sounds like LL just because they're both black and have black vocal tones. Such a lazy comparison.

They're actual voices and accents sound completely different to me and so do their styles. They rap about different subject matter in different ways and have completely different voices and flows, the only things they have in common is the fact they're both white and both rap. Done.

Well, we're all entitled to our opinion but I'm shocked you think "I Love College" is the best of the best lol. I don't mind Asher and think he will improve with time but that single is awful.

I agree with you for the most part and the accent part and ashers voice is a deeper version of ems voice if you listen closely, its just the way asher talks is different than ems..

He's actually an educated man compared to 90% of uneducated fools who call themselves rappers. And as a person with a similar background like myself, I can relate more to Asher Roth than probably any other rapper out there, more than Eminem (Eminem will always be my favorite tho). His music is for the white college crowd. I see a lot of younger kids not liking him because he's pretty soft and his subject matter isn't edgy or gangsta enough, but as you grow up, you realize that those obsessions are foolish.

I'm of course speaking form a white/college/suburban perspective. So let the nerdy white dude make music for the white college folk.

I guess I should have been a little more clear. I do not THINK that they will do a collab. Just cause Em says he thinks they are dope does not mean that he is going to do a collab with them. Going by that logic, he could potentially be doing collabs with Paul Wall, Bubba Sparxxx (hey! the four of them could make a track called White Power...) Lil Wayne, among many many others.

The reason I do not think they will do a collab is because the content they rap about is completely different. Each of their styles would not complement the others.

And for the record I did enjoy some of The Greenhouse Effect, a couple tracks off of Asleep in the Bread Aisle, and I liked his version of A Milli (any rapper who name drops hockey players, I respect them a little more, being that I am a huge hockey fan).

Also, are B.o.B., and Charles Hamilton two of the three major freshman because you said so? That's about as "retarded" as my comment. Most people who do not visit rap message boards every day would recognize the name Kid Cudi way before B.o.B. or Charles. Maybe I am misunderstanding you, but then you made the same mistake as I did by not elaborating on what you meant.

it is hip hop, and i think that em has no problem with him and thinks hes good, now i don't know what that shit with lil wayne he said but whatever. Asher Roth has some great tracks on that album and As I Em is great. Asher doesn't sound like Eminem now, but I don't see how someone can't say that Asher's voice = Slim Shady LP's voice. Of course it's not exactly the same, but I'm sure if he rap My Name Is it would be hella close. But if he rap "The Way I Am" or "Cleaning Out my Closet" it wouldn't even be close at all. Just my opinion
