One, just because Michael Jackson was taking methadone and so was Eminem has nothing to do with anything, methadone is a 'replacement' drug to lean heroine addicts off of heroine, which is pointless because it's basically replacing a drug with another drug and most of the time the addicts stay on both drugs. In the Vibe interview Em said Methadone was the drug that he almost died from. That the night he was rushed to Hospital was because of too much Methadone (if i remember correctly)

And your saying thats what Micheal Jackson died from, so Em almost died the same way as MJ

Methadone is a controlled drug unlike herion where when someone cuts it up they can add all kinds of stuff to bulk up the weight (ie- the more you have, the more dough you make selling it).

Because of this, you truly do not know what you are taking so if you get some stuff that is too strong to what you normally have you can overdose. With methadone, you know what strength it is and it is more cleaner- ie doesn't have powdered cleaned or similar stuff in it.

Methadone theoretically is suppossed to get the opiate (both herion and methadone are opiods)addict off the more unstable heroin and onto methadone so that the amount taken can be monitored and gradually reduced however, that does not always work!!
