You might want to just all night it and then take a sleep AID for about a week making yourself go to sleep NO LATER than like 12 AM. You can get a generic sleep aid from anywhere. Grocery stores, CVS, Walgreens, shit like that. I say sleep AID because it's non-habit-forming and it doesn't put you to sleep necessarily it just helps you get to sleep and stay asleep. That's how I broke my insomnia.
Also try chamomile tea. It works differently for everyone, but some people literally fall asleep within 30 mins of drinking it and they sleep HARD. So give those a shot, I'd suggest the tea first because you can drink that every night for as long as you like and it doesn't taste too horrible. Just make sure you don't add anything to it (i.e. sugar, honey, milk, etc.) because it can negate the effects of the chamomile.
