Do you think I should check it out? I mean just by hearing a Lil Wayne song I get put off, not really cause of autotune it's just his songs don't grasp me...

This is before he started talking about absolutely nothing and before autotune. Don't get me wrong it's about nothing. Just money and cars and bitches. Straight ganksta rap shit, but I bump that album at least once every week.

Hmm, I just don't see it. In my opinion The Carter 3 is his best album (not saying a WHOLE lot though..)

Btw his song called "Tha Block Is Hot" is it any good? It was given the 50th spot on VH1's 100 Greatest Hip-Hop Songs of All Time...I'll check this out on YouTube.

EDIT: It's not bad but I don't see much in it.

I dont like it neither, thats pre-carter shit right there. C1 has some dope songs, C2 is fucking dope and C3 is average.

thank god people dont hate Wayne completely...Carter III doesnt represent the good music he could make...only a few songs like Comfortable, Tie My Hands, Dr. Carter, n like 2 others...but Carter I and II r both fire and i always liked those albums
Eminem - Infinite

Ayo, my pen and paper cause a chain reaction
To get your brain relaxing, a zany acting maniac in action
A brainiac in fact son, you mainly lack attraction
You look insanely whack when just a fraction of my tracks spun
My rhyming skills got you climbing hills
I travel through your mind into you spine like siren drills
I'm sliming grills of roaches, with sprayed on disinfectants
Twist the necks of rappers 'til their spinal column disconnects
