You shouldn't name someone "great" if you have another rapper you would put in that spot based on personal preference. That means to you, they aren't "great" so why pretend just to sound cool and fit in?

I'm not doing it to "sound cool" and definately not to "fit in." Nobody else had Ice Cube on their top 3 greatest lists and only 1 other person had Rakim, maybe one other person had KRS-One. I name someone great because of their technical ability, subject choice, work amount/longevity, and their impact. My favorites don't take into account work amount/longevity or impact..

Because you can be objective too. How do you think Magazine critics make top tens and shit, they have to disregard their own instincts and weigh up all the qualities.

I posted my own opinion though. Although the top 3 imo are the greatest for their talents and impact.
