Chamillionaire's "Ultimate Victory"

I absolutely loved Ultimate Victory. I thought it was the best thing he's ever put out. The thing that I don't really understand is that the albums was different and didn't sell at all. Now he wants to switch things up cuz he thinks rap needs something fresh. For those who listened to Ultimate Victory, don't you think that was it? That was the something different. Hip Hop Police, Morning News, Evening News, Rocky Road, Industry Groupie, Bill Collecta. I thought that was some unique stuff and it didn't sell cuz people don't care about those things. I may be wrong but he seems to be going in that direction (away from punchline rap about nothing) again.

Opinions? (album, future, whatever you can think of)

Yea i bought this album I think 2 months ago and it is true hip hop through an era where hip hop by some was considered dead. Even Wayne verse is pretty good on it and SLick Ricks is crazy too... good album though Id give it an 8-9 and I hope he doesnt change up TOO much...maybe an Em collab

i fort it was pretty sad that it didnt sell well.......and the same old borin shit goes platinum......shows us the state the music industry is in right now

I liked Ultimate Victory but Creepin' (Solo) is one of the best songs ive heard in a long time so i think hes doin fine

I thought Creepin Solo was Ridin Pt.2...I have no clue how it didn't catch fire like Ridin. That's a problem.

Yeah, it's a great album. Regarding the sales, I don't think dropping the week after the kanye-50 shit helped him with that lol. It really sucks that he wants to change up his style, he's already different and he should just stick to what he did on Ultimate Victory. His next album is probably not gonna sell no matter what anyway, so he might as well just do what hes been doing
