Em and Jay Renegade pwns the fuck outta the Royce version

And I agree. Jay IS one of the best to ever do it. Not necessarily because he's more lyrical than anyone out there. Shit Rakim got that on lock beyond any other rapper period. It's not because of his flow cuz he don't have shit on Biggie or Pun. It's because he can make you relate to his lyrics. And he puts together AMAZING albums. He knows how to produce an album better than most people.

And Chet is right. Once people build someone up to a certain point they take a sick pleasure in tearing them down. Jigga ftw

i recently became a huge fan of jay...about 3 months ago I got B2 and i loved the curse more than the gift but the gift was good. Then I got reasonable doubt and that topped it then blueprint topped all of them. You either like him or you dont and also you cant really just listen to him you got to focus in on him you know.

Cuz he aint as great as people make him out to be. I like Jay, but the best ever? r u fucking kidding me? Reasonable Doubt is one of the best hip hop albums ever, same with Blueprint. So I can't say he's not a legend. But, he does some things that just piss the fuck outta me. He jacks little things here and there, but people still dickride what he says. Plus he thinks hes like a god or some shit, and he says he came back because the game needed him. Then he drops Kingdome Come, which was absolute trash. He changed up his style to sell more records, and he even admitted that. I like Jay and i have a lot of songs of his on my ipod, but those are some of the reasons why people hate on Jay.

Oh by the way Nas IS better than Jay, just for the record

I used to be like a lot of people bfore who used to not like Jay-Z. I used to think he was too commercial and was way overrated but I gave him a chance. I got Reasonable Doubt and I was thinking "Damn! This album is hot!" and then I got The Blueprint and that was it. Jay-Z had become one of my favorite rappers.

He might not be a lyrical genius or might not be as good with his flow or anything but to me, he's like another 2Pac in a way. 2Pac was never that skilled as an MC, actually, Jay-Z is probably more skilled but they coud both do something that lots of rappers nowadays can't. Music which you won't get tired of, music which in one way or another you'll relate to although there's a lot of ghetto in it and music which you can just feel it.
