Em is above all other rappers because he tell storys & gets people imagening and visulizing insted of the typical crap most rappers talk about like: ho's, $$$, n saying the n word all the time. He is unique, has everyside to him that a person could possibly have, and pores it into his music, this stuff makes him the biggest artist on the planet

He's white, and a milky can't rap about the same things black rappers rap about, so he had to come up with something very unique and special, hence all the really fucked up songs about his life and the twisted concepts in a lot of the tracks. That's what's appealing to people, I believe.
