Slaughterhouse Album

Postby slimsoxshady » Jul 31st, '09, 23:53

So the album leaked today. I've always been into punchline rap and this album has some of the best shit I've heard in a long time. A lot of rewind type lines. Definitely one of my favorite albums in a while after the first listen through. Opinions?

This Album Is The Shit Fool!
Maybe it's hatred I spew, maybe it's food for the spirit
Maybe it's beautiful music I made for you to just cherish
But I'm debated disputed hated and viewed in America

Bump

Just listened to it fully and my first impression is that it's not bad but it ain't great. Average or so. Some songs I like, others that I just don't get into. None are awful that's for sure. If you're really into lyrics then the album is probably more enjoyable I think but cause I don't go into the lyrics as much I probably don't feel the same as if you would. Usually beats are what make me get into a song at first but with this album, not really. Production ain't bad at all! This time, the songs that I've liked I've liked through the chorus and general sound of it, how the song flows.

The songs I like at the moment are: Not Tonight, Cut You Loose, Onslaught 2, Salute and The One.

I have to give it many more listens before I can tell if it's a good album or not.
