I was just listening to My First Single...n I think...the track has pretty good lyrics...not amazing to Em's standards...but I personally think what ruined it was Eminem's producing...

Rhymes, Rhymes, Rhymes, he displays his rhyming skills on this in a comedic and fun way. Many people hate this song, I admire it for his lyricism and flow. I enjoyed the silly songs on Encore. It was still Eminem to me. Relapse was all dark, with the accent and less fun. SSLP was fun, Relapse was dark filled with wacky shit with no variety.
My First Single to me was the shit. But hey thats just me...heavily underrated imo.

yeah, that "clacking" noise which I would assume is some form from a snare, gets quite annoying. Pointless lines, however some do make you laugh

The beat is extremely horrible. It completely drowns out his voice and is borderline annoying. There are some good random one-liners in there but otherwise average/boring lyrics.
