I've been watching this little feud for a while. Eminem didn't like "open his mouth" and try to brag about the relationship. People heard rumors, and they were asking him. Like, if you look at the "Access Hollywood" thing from ?2002?, the interviewer asks him about Mariah and other women (Kim Basinger) he was linked to. And Eminem looks like he was just trying to be honest and not lie. I respect that.
Mariah... I saw her on Larry King trying to explain her mental breakdown. Larry King asked her about Eminem and she completely denied being in a relationship with him. She said they had barely met. She also went out of her way to say that he's not talented and that the only reason why he's more famous than other rappers is because he's white. I was like "WTF?!" Now, if anyone remembers Mariah's career, in the beginning, in the 90s, she was completely pop. And still, to this day, in most of her videos, she's always chasing after some White guy (not to be offensive.. just making an observation). So, I was thinking, she's been trying to be as White as she can.... and now, all of a sudden, she's an R&B singer and shitting on Eminem? It just didn't make sense.
I remember her on TRL in a damn t-shirt handing out cds and popscicles.. I remember they said she was throwing dishes in her house. And also, I read the "Cleanin Out My Closet" book where the author talks about Em's and Mariah's relationship. With everything that Em has been saying... all the pieces just fit to me.
They had a relationship right before "Glitter" came out. I don't know why she's denying it, maybe she really was too drunk/crazy to remember the relationship, but now she's in too deep to admit it. If she would have just said "yes" all those years ago, she wouldn't be in this mess right now. But now, she has to leave it alone otherwise Em will release those voicemails of her saying crazy stuff like "tommy matola is trying to kill me" and shit like that. I believe she won't say another thing about it.. and everyone will call it "taking the high road."
you copied and pasted that from a blog
