How is Christina Aguilera a slut? Girl has vocals like no other and can sing her ass off. Does she portray a sexy image? How's that any different from The Beatles, when they all had girls going crazy for them and wanting to have their babies. Elvis Presley, Prince, Marilyn Monroe, Boyz II Men, Guns N Roses... Elvis Presley had a fanbase encompassing both male and female; just for some reason females take it too far. He never asked to be seen as a sex symbol, he was all about music.
LL Cool J is a rapper; rappers over-exaggerate everything, but i still didn't see Cool J selling because he took his shirt off.

How come when women do it suddenly becomes their "womanhood," and they're selling what they have, instead of being defined as someone who's working for their money, Because this "womanhood" that they have, it's all part of the image that nearly everyone must portray to be in this business.

... And as far as Rihanna goes, yeah, so she doesn't have the best voice. A lot of singers don't, in the same way that a lot of rappers might not have the best rhymes, but they're still fairly decent and successful. She makes good songs and Good Girl Gone Bad was a hot album, that perhaps was more catered to females with the subject matter, but god damn it, half the world is female, so more power to her. And if you don't think she's hot, whatever, I'm sure there are plenty of guys and girls that would be willing, and you'd just be missing out.

So you suggest our judgement is unfair and sexist to say Rihanna sells due to her body, only to turn around and flaunt the typical "oh well she's hotter than you and they would". The only reason any male person i know hears her music is through music video form, because they are only interested in her body, which i find fucking disgusting; but she isn't helping herself by showing off her body in this way. Sure she's helping herself financially, but her morals have gone out the fucking window and splattered into a bloody mess on the ground below.

How do you justify little girls dressing like sluts, or going out and getting drunk at 12? Parenting? Nah, it's this generations "to-do" thing, because of Lindsay Lohan and other slutty women that create an image that girls have to follow to fit in.

I can't see how anyone, especially a woman, could disagree that it's thanks to these women girls today become more generalized with whores than ever before. They objectify and degrade themselves, because the fact is if a girl dresses like a slut, she should be treated like a slut. Just like if a guy dresses like a hood, he'll be treated as one, and never get taken seriously.

I'm not saying it doesn't have an effect on young minds, but it's unfair to put them completely to blame. That's like blaming music, movies, and just about everything else in entertainment for all the bad shit that happened in the world.

First off, an artist can't help who purchases and supports their music for whatever reason. That doesn't just apply to singers, but rappers, bands, even actors. How many people watched Brad Pitt's movies just to see Brad Pitt? I mean, Fight Club wouldn't be the success it is today if he was not shirtless all the time. And it's not like he did much to stop that image, he's still considered one of the sexiest men alive.

And the ironic thing about Rihanna is you guys claim she uses her body and image to sell, when obviously, with her most recent fashion and hair styles, I beg to differ. She could easily have kept the long hair and simple dresses that pushed up her boobs in order to cater to the male fan base, but instead, she completely changed her style, took a risk, and now looks like Prince, dressing like Sgt. Pepper or some shit. So if she's using her sexuality and image to sell, then she's not doing a very good job of it, since so many guys (as evdienced from TR) don't really dig her new look.
