I need help with a torrent

I'm downloading a torrent, and it's going extremely slow, it's been like between 0.5 - 1.5kb speed... it's been up to like 12kb speeds, but rarely, more than half the time it's like 1kb speed... and any port I use doesn't seem to work. I have no seeds. anyone know how to help?

um, I'm using utorrent... no matter what I do, it stays at like 1kb speed... it goes up after I change a setting for like 10 - 120 seconds, and goes right back down....

it's kind of a hard to find torrent, so... I didn't have much a choice. it has 0 seeds. and I'm actually downloading this for someone else, and I'm going to upload the video on another site for download.

isn't there a way to get seeds (do peers speed things up?) while it's downloading?

Peers are people who are downloading it too I believe so No unless those peers are actually uploading something. I cant really help you. Sorry Drunkendeath

I found a few pages that tell you how to speed things up, but it involves logging onto your router or something, but I have no idea how to log onto my router? Could you help me with that please?

Thats cuz seed is 0.
