Hailie's Song vs. Mockingbird

I've seen way too many people talk about this like idiots so i need to address it.

1. Hailie's Song is an original approach to a song...He sings most of it, but then stays true to his roots by putting a rap verse in the end.

2. Mockingbird is NOT original, mostly because it rehashes the content in Hailie's Song.

3. The lyrics are not even comparable. Hailie's Song (the rap verse anyway) delivers the message in an edgy, interesting way...and the rhyming is unfathomably better (neck is breakin'/expectations, years that I've wasted/tears that I've tasted).

4. The singing in Hailie's Song is actually GOOD...at least tolerable for most people. The singing in Mockingbird is annoying as fuck.

If you think Mockingbird is better, you're a moron.

i luv both songs but i see Mockingbird as a better song...told the story more while Halies Song he sung n than rapped bout his life revolving round Halie with Kim and his mom and all that while Mockingbird focused on him and Halie mostly

I kind of agree. I wish i could have came up with this topic. they are even. same with when im gone. And y doesn't em rap about elaina? elaina is gorgeous.

He has talked about her in some songs , But again Hailie is his blood , Am sure he loves them both to death , But man why would he choose one of his daughters to rap about cause shes prettier than the other ? Damn man the way you think sometimes

I used to like Mockingbird much more but I eventually got tired and still stuck to Hailie's Song as a track that I liked.
