Having the opinion that Mockingbird is better is like having the opinion that shit tastes better than chocolate pudding.

On the contrary, Mockingbird is actually quite a good song to many people whereas no one considers the taste of shit good. People can take things from both songs and make it dear to them, in other words, each song can be someone's "chocolate pudding," if you will. And jeez, are you going to call someone a moron for liking Kraft's Chocolate Pudding over General Foods Chocolate Pudding?

1. Hailie's Song is an original approach to a song...He sings most of it, but then stays true to his roots by putting a rap verse in the end.
2. Mockingbird is NOT original, mostly because it rehashes the content in Hailie's Song.
3. The lyrics are not even comparable. Hailie's Song (the rap verse anyway) delivers the message in an edgy, interesting way...and the rhyming is unfathomably better (neck is breakin'/expectations, years that I've wasted/tears that I've tasted).
4. The singing in Hailie's Song is actually GOOD...at least tolerable for most people. The singing in Mockingbird is annoying as fuck.
If you think Mockingbird is better, you're a moron.

If you're calling someone "moron" for liking a track, you can might as well get the fuck outta here and die you fucking prick.
Mockingbird is way better than Hailie's Song.
Cuz there's a lot of shit I keep bottled that hurts deep inside of my soul,
And just know that I grow colder the older I grow
This boulder on my shoulder gets heavy and harder to hold
And this load is like the weight of the world
And I think my neck is breaking should I just give up,
Or try to live up to these expectations?
