I used to think the same way, until I met someone with that issue. It stopped being stupid for me, it's been horrible - being at home and thinking, what the hell he's doing at this moment, whether he's trying it again or if I'm gonna see him tomorrow.

It can be prevented and it should be prevented. Although I feel sorry for the people, I still can't help thinking of it as a very egoistic thing to do. What, you just kill yourself and leave everything behind? Your problems, the people caring about you, people who will have to deal with the loss, the pain and everything else? I know, it's also egoistic from my point of view, but most of the problems can be solved and if you solve them, it makes you stronger and makes you believe that there is actually something that is worth living for.

I used to think the same way as you too and what most people think, until I was suicidal myself just a few months ago, which is why I can now see both sides. When people say what about everything you're leaving behind - you don't think there IS anything, or anyone, that you're leaving behind, or that cares about you, so you don't think about that stuff. And you're in such a state of mind that you don't think the problems can be solved and you give up. I had to think long and hard before I had a reason to even get out of bed every morning. Now though, I have a job, etc and things are looking up. But a few months ago if it wasn't actually for one thing now, I most likely wouldn't be here now (trying not to sound so dramatic, but it's the truth lol).

My point is, people shouldn't say it's stupid blablabla, cause unless they've been inside that person's head, they don't have a clue.

I know, I've been talking to him and he sort of explained it to me.. Unless you can call it in that way. Anyways, I think the key is to find that very reason. I understand it might be hard.. I know it may sound stupid, but you gotta keep yourself busy. Like, find a job or a hobby. It's easy to say 'find a job', but believe me, it's got a therapeutic value. You can notice it, like when you get depressed or just sad, and you keep yourself busy, you stop thinking about it and focus on what you gotta do..

Anyways, I hate this topic. It's been one of the very few times in my life I was actually scared shitless that I might lose someone I really cared about.

In the end, it is no longer what has happened in your life, but what you choose to do with it. If you can manage to accept what you cannot change and not kill yourself, and find something to do with your life that you want to do, you can may be able to manage to get through life with your heart missing. A lot of these people started off by praying to a god who may not exist for hope.

Yeah my uncle commited suice and left his three year old and one year old kids alone without any parents and my family has had to raise them, so why don't you shut the fuck up and mind your own business.
