02-03 All over again?

Is it me or it just feels like 02-03 with the quality music Eminem is putting? Remember back then, almost every song or feature of Em released was fantastic?

To me it's just like that, Relapse was solid. Then The Warning leaked, which was great, then now his verse on Forever is amazing, not for the lyrical content (which is nice too though) but for the way he spits with the same anger and aggressivity we known him for.

Relapse 2 will be his 2nd best album, I'm sure.

I can be honest though, I don't think Relapse was solid at all and was an okay album at best. BUT songs like "The Warning" and "Forever" have been redeeming his lyrical skills/flow.

I agree Relapse was straight up shit(not including 4-5 songs) in my opinion, but everything hes but out after relapse is fucking hoot shit, the freestyles the collab and the diss track. I kinda act like relapse never happend and im just looking forward to see 2

Anyways Relapse was 10x better than Encore, since it only has 2 songs I don't like on it (CAB and WMY). Since Relapse his Westwood freestyles, The Warning, Chemical Warfare and Forever have all been fucking fire. I'm hoping he keeps going at this rate, but I don't think he's ever going to achieve 02-03 level of quality. Maybe close, but he won't be topping Lose Yourself and 8 Mile.

Lyrically i don't think Em ever fell off, i think he just rapped differently because of all the drugs and events that occurred around Encore Era, and Relapse was kinda getting back up but still sketchy but with the Warning and all i think hes slowly picking up speed.

Don't forget about that one Westwood Freestyle. He killed that shit, I wish there was a studio quality recording of it. That one free was one of the most impressive things I've ever heard from him lyrically and flow wise combined dating back to the Infinite era.
