Em as a producer...?

I just listened Trick Trick's album through and started thinking what does it actually mean if these songs are "produced by Eminem"..? You know, what he has really done for the beat? has he Composed the melody and/or played them by himself with some casio or whatever, or does he only do the drums with some drum patterns or just pays for Luis Resto to do the beat? Cuz I've been producer already for ten years by myself and I just got to say that those Eminem beats are actually really impressive. The mixing, melodies and the whole harmony are really good including some little sounds that you won't find by first listening..? Give me some thoughts people

Eminem does have the melody in his head, so he hums it for Luis Resto or whoever is there, and they play it for him.

Well, that's what he did with The Way I Am. But I am pretty sure he has learned to play piano now
