i think that he doesn't practice.writting every day is a rappers practice.the more you write,the more you get better.that's how it goes.i don't think he did any study...it's talent combined with lots of writting...that's it.

I know I read somewhere that he usually reads the dictionary a certain amount of time each day to help build up his vocabulary.

I don't know about any routines though. But I know I got my little ways to help improve my skills.
Like Menzo said about thinking of a word and just try to rhyme it as many times as you can in a short period of time.
Like, I walk around here at home saying a sentance and then try to rhyme every word in it, that actually helps me a lot later when I'm gonna write my raps. It stretches my capabilty to think of shit to rhyme with.

And I think in the Way I Am book (not sure tho), he says that he does daily lil exercises like writing bullshit rhymes to keep his lyrical abilities up.

You don't exactly PRACTICE.

It just comes to you and you think while writing a verse. It's not that hard to rap, but to rap well lyrically and flow-wise, that is where it becomes difficult.

In this time of hip-hop, we really need an MC that can stand out from the crowd.

Not another Jay-Z. Not another Eminem. Not another Kanye West. Not another Nas. Not those big name artists. Not even some of the underground artists like Mos Def.
