Is Obama a bad president without comparing him to Bush?

Okay, I know Bush did terrible things that ruined more countries than just America, and while Obama was in a competition against Hillary and McCain, he seemed like a nice guy and was trying to make everyone feel inspired and feel good and confident that HE would fix everything in America. He said "as soon as I'm in office"... he said was going to fix a lot. He won the election.

Obama has officially became president earlier this year, months ago. We have hardly heard from him since. He is no longer trying to sound like he is talking to you when you hear his voice on the TV or the radio. No more sereneful music. No more saying he is going to get things done quick. He hasn't done much.

Obama let people who were illegally in the USA vote. And right now he is not going to cover them with health insurance? Did he let them vote just so that he could get more votes with his inspirational speeches?

WITHOUT COMPARING OBAMA TO BUSH, would you say Obama is a good, or bad president?

I think he’s doing pretty good, I don’t really know that much but I heard he did more in the first 100 days then most presidents.

I think the problem is that people looked at Obama as the superhero who would save the world right away, we all know he can’t fix everything in four years. Kind of like Eminem’s Relapse lol, people’s expectations were thru the roof, but when it came out a lot of people were disappointed.

Well I think first thing's first, it's hard to judge a President so soon.

Yes, times are a lot different from when he was on the campaign trail because simply put, once you're in power you're not King, you have something called bureaucracies, levels of government, lobbyists and other factors that affect every decision and make it virtually impossible to act decisively in any way.

As far as not hearing him, that was the point of his congressional address yesterday and his school address the day before. Right now the country is in one of the most partisan positions in a long time, people questioning not Obama's policies but whether or not he's a legitimate US citizen have become so polarizing it is hard to work together in a bipartisan manner, which is needed to further any legislation.

Altogether, Obama has promised a lot, and time will tell if he will become more forceful, but it's important to recognize how slow and grinding the US democracy is--and hopefully some good things will come out of this Presidency.
