Well, Relapse was given a release date on March 6 and came out May 19. That's 2.5 months so, based on that formula and a release date during the holidays, Relapse 2 will be given a release date in early October. Add 2.5 and you get Dec 15. We'll see.

Yeah, if you look at it from a business aspect it would be better to realease the album during Jan - Feb 2010.

When it comes out in '10 I don't wanna hear any whining. Seriously though...maybe I'm wrong but think about it realistically...think about how long it takes to RECORD new Material, Master new material, send it to the label, have the label press it up, have the label set up a promotion scheme, have the management prepare for your new album, etc.

That shit takes a LONG time. Realistically speaking I believe it WILL come out next year. I've been saying this since the whole R2 thing was first brought up. Lets be real here. Maybe he can bust an Encore and come out for Christmas but I seriously DOUBT it. I would prefer an album for the Summer anyway....its the perfect time, imo....but than again i'm not a Music Historian so I can't explain all the science that goes into these things.
