Em typically said the year after the record was released at the end of his tracks. MMLP was in 2000 - his reign would go at least til 2001.

Same in the Eminem Show. However, in Encore, he said "2006" at the end of the title song - which some take as Encore was supposed to be released in 2005 but Interscope bumped it up.
