Obie Trice shooting update

Obie Trice recently revealed details about an incident that left the rapper with a bullet - in his head.

Obie Trice was shot last Saturday (Dec. 31, 2005) while driving on the Lodge Freeway in Detroit, Michigan.

He was treated and released, but the rapper the bullet has yet to be removed from the rapper's head.

"They didn't take the bullet out my head," Obie Trice said. "It didn't penetrate my skull or nothing, but they didn't want to go inside my head and mess with the blood vessels."

According to Trice, he was shot with a low caliber weapon, a 9 millimeter handgun.

Shortly, the rapper will return to a doctor seeking an expert opinion on whether or not they should operate to remove the bullet.

"I don't know where it came from, you know what I'm saying? I really don't have a take on that, a lot of people are jealous, and jealous, and envious and hateful."

Michigan State Police have called on witnesses to come forward to help identify the shooter.

Damn i hope they remove the bullet safely. Sad shit, but it could be worse.

Yeah man.... i hope he get well as soon as possible, the second rounds goes on him.. but is still funny that he got the bullet on his head, i cant believe. I bet that he is goin to rap about it in at least one song claimin that he didnt die even if they shot him in da head.

he should be fine if they leave the bullet in. I'm a surgical tech, and i have seen patients come in for a gun shot to the head and many many times the doctors leave it in, because taking it out may cause more damage than leaving it in... but either way i hope he gets better...

Glad to hear Obie's alright!there's an Italian singer,called Gino Paoli, who got shot many years ago.He is still alive and lives with this bullet in the heart..it's kinda weird but it's true!
