No Apologies

Postby M-N-M » Sep 30th, '09, 08:41

if i just heard it for the first time it should replace crack a bottle on relapse...its a great song and lyrical wise is one of eminems best IMO...

My head hits the pillow, a weepin' willow
I can't sleep, a pain so deep it bellows
But these cellos help just to keep me mellow
Hands on my head, touch knees to elbows
I'm hunched over, emotion just flows over
These cold shoulders are both frozen, you don't know me
I keep sayin' it - I can't stress it enough,
So keep playin' it and stand next to the subs
I choke mics like asphyxiation,
While I'm strangling my own throat masturbatin' (ha-ha)
Fuck yeah, I'm a basket case and I mastered this rap shit,
'Till my ass gets wasted, 'till my assassination,
'Till I'm slain cause of some fag's infatuation
44 mag - a fascination, a taste for disaster,
And if that's the case then..

yeah, agreed with Scotty Boy. The song doesn't feels like to match any of albums. It was like his one word in the silence, like Fuck you haters! Something like that.
Ted Bundy did it, John Gasey did it, Jeffery Dahmer did it, Jim Baker did it, Jimmy Swaggart did it, Lil Rick did it... And why me can't do it? :confusion:

I actually don't think it belongs on Re-up at all. Re-up feels like a mix tape and then all of a sudden No Apologies jumps out at you from nowhere like what the fuck. I think it should be on either Eminem Show or Relapse. But I don't know what song it should replace, maybe Square Dance and Crack a Bottle (I know a lot of people like Square Dance, I'm just not one of them)

Wow, someone speaking the truth on this forum. Rare.

Oh yeah, and as for the track, it's clearly from The Eminem Show recordings. The production is unmistakable, along with his voice.

Amadeo wrote:recorded & written in 2002, if i'm not mistaken. it sounds exactly like the voice in Say Goodbye Hollywood. eminem was sounding really fuckin' horrible in 2006.

he had that really deep depressed voice which you can hear in Beautiful.
