lol who thought Relapse was going MMLP? I know I didn't MMLP was made when he was pissed off by the media, label, fans, his new found fame.. so he sounded so angry, while Relapse was made when he got nothing against him, everyone was waiting for his comeback then, what's to angry about? If anything he's more angry now then he was before Relapse

And I think R2 gonna resemble TES because he said R2 will have more emotions, and we all know TES by far is his most personal album

my prediction:

Relapse 2 tracks recorded in 2008 will remind us of TES
Relapse 2 tracks recorded in 2009 from may onwards will remind us of MMLP

IMO the tracks he kept from 2008 will be the "straight spitting" tracks, kinda like Underground sequel (which is confirmed) I don't know why some still expect a Proof tribute on new album when Em already said there'll be no such thing like that. He may mention Proof briefly like in Deja Vu but a full tribute track - not gonna happen.

Me too, I prefer MMLP & SSLP miles over TES , TES is great but not his best lyrical imo, and the beats + punchlines in SSLP & MMLP are classic. Also the "feel" from MMLP to TES is very different

i thought Encore was more of a personal album than TES. i thought TES was verging on self-pitying, & then Encore just tipped the scales completely.

Not really, you can't call tracks like Mosh, Encore, Just Lose It, Ass Like That... personal. It's more personal than Relapse & SSLP yes, but not in the personal level of TES (no fillers there). Besides, the facts that he sounds so monotune in Encore (all songs) doesn't make me feel his emotion at all, while in TES you can really feel his delivery.
