IMO the tracks he kept from 2008 will be the "straight spitting" tracks, kinda like Underground sequel (which is confirmed) I don't know why some still expect a Proof tribute on new album when Em already said there'll be no such thing like that. He may mention Proof briefly like in Deja Vu but a full tribute track - not gonna happen.

there's not gonna be a full tribute track but you can bet ur bottom dollar he will discuss proof a LOT in relapse 2. no question.

I really really don't think he'll discuss Proof A LOT like you said cuz that will make R2 a hella depressing album

Not really, you can't call tracks like Mosh, Encore, Just Lose It, Ass Like That... personal. It's more personal than Relapse & SSLP yes, but not in the personal level of TES (no fillers there). Besides, the facts that he sounds so monotune in Encore (all songs) doesn't make me feel his emotion at all, while in TES you can really feel his delivery.

I refuse to even call those abominations "tracks". :shakehead:

Me too, I prefer MMLP & SSLP miles over TES :p , TES is great but not his best lyrical imo, and the beats + punchlines in SSLP & MMLP are classic. Also the "feel" from MMLP to TES is very different

omfg :worship:

I take it that you agreed? :sweating:

Amadeo wrote:mockingbird, evil deeds, crazy in love, yellow brick road, crazy in love, spend some time... these were all personal songs on encore.

the only songs on TES that were deeply personal - without putting on any personas - were cleaning out my closet, say goodbye hollywood, hailie's song, sing for the moment & i guess you could say last verse of the album

& alaine, you can't really call business, wihtout me, drips, when the music stops personal tracks either

yes, half of Encore is personal, but that just as far as content goes, like I already said, his delivery in Encore is so dull & boring that doesn't make me feel his emotions at all

Man, talking about Encore reminds me of the dark days.

I really liked Relapse...

...but another Relapse copy wouldn't be as fun as something different - R2

That's why I like Eminem so much, all the albums are different. He doesn't have 2 albums that sound the same (Jay Z, Nas, etc., all those greats have very similar sounding albums imo). And I bet R2 will sound different that anything he's ever done.
