Why do a lot of people have an obsession with the accent?

i agree with you...but by the way that Tony Touch interview went, sounds like he wants to silence some critics with Relapse 2 and put out some real meaningful material.

It's a joke type of song. Do you want him singing those baby voiced lyrics in a serious voice? Yeah...that'd be a little weird.

These types of songs wouldn't be as good without the accent. 3 AM is arguably the only one that shouldn't have it, but then it'd still seem a little weird too.

I like it. Get over it. This is how he is now. And if you've heard Forever, The Warning and the Westwood freestyles, you'd know he doesn't ALWAYS use it now.

Word. it just takes something away is my thoughts, its fine but after encore I think we all relate songs with that accent to encore, and most people on here dislike that album because of songs that used it (half the fuckin thing)

well...i hate the accent, and with i HATE i mean his songs are better without it, but if he wants to put it I'd listen the songs too,because he is EMINEM, he has flow, he has REALLY REALLY good lyrics, and that's the important thing,not the fucking accent

i like the accent, at first i was like wtf but i think it sounds really cool when he raps fast with it

im glad he experimented with it on relapse, i think i would have got bored with his normal voice

also, the song i listen to by far the least is beautiful, so for me, i hope R2 sounds nothing like that

what I hope for relapse 2 is a more varied and balanced album, keep a few psycho songs on there
