Nas, Biggie, Jay-Z, those are more mainstream good rappers. You could also go with Talib Kweli, Mos Def or Common, or if you wanted really underground go with Jedi Mind Tricks and Army of the Pharaohs. You can never go wrong with Wu Tang Clan either.
