Finally, a Biggie fan.

His flow is just insane, no doubt. Ready to Die is my favorite album of all time as well as Notorious being my favorite rapper of all time, but 2Pac ain't far behind, IMO. Yes, I know he's a little overrated (2Pac), but he's still pretty damn good. Me Against the World, ftw.

If you like Biggie, you gotta watch Notorious, the movie. It's pretty bad, but it's great on the same token if you appreciate Biggie's music.

Eminem Stans don't go on Hip Hop Domain to argue since they don't belong.

YES. AND I AGREE. He just puts his presence on the mic. His lyrics, delivery, his flow. Its just crazy, cruelest turn of events took his life too early man.

Juicy, Gimme The Loot, Who Shot Ya, Big Poppa,Thing Done Changed, Machine Gun Funk, Suicidal Thoughts. Fuck yeah.

$(@TTY B@Y wrote:i dno how you can say he is better than eminem when you look at songs like, say goodbye hollywood, till i collapse, renegade, stay wide awake etc .. you can just see that eminem has a better flow and better multies and much better story telling skills, just look at stan for example.

but, having said that, i've not really heard biggie smalls much. just the odd song here and there, so i'm not really in a position to judge. maybe you could recommend me to some songs?

For Story-Telling...

Me & My Bitch, Warning, Somebody's Gotta Die, I Got a Story to Tell, Niqqas Bleed, Suicidal Thoughts

For Lyricism...

Basically all songs, but stand outs are: Machine Gun Funk, Things Done Changed, Unbelievable, Who Shot Ya?, You're Nobody ('Till Somebody Kills You)

For Plain Originality...

Gimme the Loot, What's Beef, Playa Hater

And Just-Dope... (that's not already named)

Hypnotize, Big Poppa, Everyday Struggle, Kick in the Door, Juicy, Ten Crack Commandments

I remember you never listened to Illmatic, so I suggest starting with that and immersing yourself in it and THEN going to other older hip hop albums. :y:

People don't give Life After Death the credit it deserves IMO.

It may not be as good as Ready To Die but it's still a fucking classic.

Word up.

Well, actually, IMO, Life After Death JUST passes the classic rating, because of some tracks like "Fucking You Tonight", "Another", and "Playa Hater". They just don't appeal to me as much and there's too much filler.

But it's a damn good album. If it was 1-Disc, Biggie would no doubt be better than 2Pac.
