i read something about a man who was 80 and survived WWII when he was 80 (about 60 years after the war) he found out in a medical check he had a bullet behind his ear.. it was grown in and he had never noticed it.. so its possible, but you must be lucky (if getting shot down is lucky)

i've got this from a yahoo group called the shady years.

obie trice talks about shooting.

obie says the 31/12/2005 shooting that left a bullet lodged in his head is nothing more than 'living in Detroit', and that's all.the shady records rapper who was shot while he was driving on the Detroit freeway, released a statement about the incident.explaining that this type of violence is an every day thing in the part of his town where he is living.you hear about it, because i got ties to eminem or whatever, but i got people that are out there dealing with it every single day where i am from explains he.after being treated and releaved from providence hospital the same day, trice is currntly recovering at home.doctors have chosen not to remove the bullet from his skull after deciding the operation was to risky.no suspects where been arrested in this shooting, however rumours mills have been circulated.all kinds of theories as to who pulled the trigger and why.as far as rumours and geussing games,people talking road rage and all of that nonsense.i'm not involved in any of that right now, he said.
