Just my opinion, but Encore was a terrible album.

Better than the mainstream shit out then, but still a whack-ass album. If there wasn't some songs on there that KINDA saved it, it'd be garbage.

I enjoy Encore. I don't love much of it but its a fantastic album ruined by 3 or 4 bits of crap. And some good lyrics ruined by stupid songs.

A good example of the last one is Big Weanie, now im writing these lyrics off of memory and I aint listened in a while but I remember these lyrics having great flow :

For me to say the truth ok

You're disgusting

A bunch of sweets or somethin?

Something like that anyway. Fun lyrics with a cool flow trapped in a poor song.

i think you may be reaching. the perfect word for the album Encore is "mediocre."

Perfect word for Encore is "bad", "mediocre" is for Relapse. My opinion anyway. Cuz in Encore there's no stand out tracks, just some can be called "good" at best.

relapse is eminem's lyrically dopest album. he has never reached the complexity of Stay Wide Awake in his career. relapse is a very good album.

Music is subjective, I did say that's my opinion only. Relapse shows he still got crazy rhymes but that's it. Em said himself that in Relapse he focused mostly on straight spitting, that's how I see it too.
