French is hip hops second language and has brilliant beats.

French hip hop is the hip hop music style which was developed in France.

Many French hip hop artists come from the poor urban areas on the outskirts of large cities known as banlieues ("suburbs"). Paris, Marseille, Lyon, Nantes, Lille, Strasbourg, Caen, Le Havre, Rouen, Toulouse and Nice have produced various French hip hop artists. Hatred within French society and colonial past plays a large role in the success of French hip hop. In order to fully understand French hip hop, however, it is imperative to consider and understand the political and social status of the minority groups living in France.Many French rappers are products of the HLM and draw upon their upbringing in this environment as a source of inspiration for their lyrics. France is the world's second hip-hop producing country.

I didn't know there was a thread about French Hip Hop lol There are only a few rappers who are worth listening to, most of the french rappers compare their lifes to the "gangsta" life that people can have in american cities such as L.A. ( Compton etc ) or New-York ( Bronx, Queens and etc ) . They want to do things like americans do things that's stupid and pointless to me . But regardless of those wannabe gangsters, I gotta admit that yes there's a minority of french rappers that have some albums or tracks worth listening to . I don't often listen to french rappers therefore I couldn't give you the names of the songs that people here in France call "lyrical" . I'm just going to give you all, some tracks I really like in particular because of an instrumental or a catchy chorus or simply because I like the track lol . Some funny shit, some deep shit and so catchy shit for you to bump ..
