that's what funny. Even when Em actually spits, some would still find reason to hate on that, I guess it's cooler to say he sucks now![]()
That said, even if R2 turned out to be a classic (if), I bet some would still rather be in denial like "Nah, his old shit is better."

Because his old shit is better. Anybody sitting here saying of damn he killed that is saying it only because it was Eminem and have no real reasoning to why they liked it. It was nothing like the SSLP at all. They could have thrown Spyder up there and he would have spit a better verse. Maybe im stuck in the past but the past has enough good music to keep my satisfied.
And yes you are stuck in the past, what's with that "It was nothing like the SSLP at all"? while right now I do like his old stuff from SSLP & MMLP better, I really don't see why his new stuff have to be like SSLP to be considered good

EminemIVLife wrote:i dont know about that. What bout tracks that are better (imo) like careful what you wish for; my darling even stay wide awake or underground are equal. See, thats alot of songs where you can appreciate his maximum talent. What about Tim Westwood freestyles; Rap City freestyle; all his post-Relapse shit is on point except taking my ball which was a 2008 track released recently

classthe_king wrote:Im not saying R2 isnt as good as SSLP, im saying this cypher, or anything he has put out recently outside of Forever adn the Warning isnt as good as the SSLP.
Also I think the Tim Westwood freestyle he did after Relapse was fire, and the cypher was fire too (imo anyway since you don't agree) Mind you he had not-very-good freestyles in the past too, it's not like everything he puts out has to be diamond or trash, there are in-between too

that rap city freestyle reminded me of the cypher in a way
