I don't think any rapper that will ever rap will be able to make a song as good as Rock Bottom, so its not Eminem's fault. I know he put out trash then too, i dont listen to that either. Eminem has gotten to the point where he is trying to make his rap so complex where he isnt really saying anything. I liked the simple Em where he just had dope Multis and hard hitting punches.

I beg to differ. Whats up with this Rock Bottom praisin? Lose Yourself and The Way I Am are the songs that are 10 times better than Rock bottom! Lyrically and content-wise! And please guys, for gods sakes, dont give me any shit about Rock bottom being more emotionally driven just cuz he was poor then? Didn't he write that song the same day he committed suicide? And that songs rhyming one of his best in any song ever. Yet the message is also one of his best ever. That song gives me chills whenever i hear it

^It is one of his best, no doubt. Back then he just had more stuff to rap about. If he could find real shit to rap about now, with being a lyrical monster as he is currently, he could do even better than Rock Bottom, maybe even TWIA and LY. He just needs to put these last few years on the paper with the passion he used to have, but in a different way than he did on Relapse. He was makin fun of it for most of the time, now he should make it more seriously and thats it. Both sides of the same story and we have the albums of the decade all together...
