Probably my favorite album ever and I like all genres of music pretty much. Amazing. :y:

MMLP and SSLP murder this. its to soft compared to his previous 2. i dont understand where the angry but humors Eminem went after the MMLP but its not there. every song on the MMLP is superior to TES. its almost a completely different style. more poetic then hard core rap like MMLP and SSLP were. still a good album but no where near the best ever.

SSLP
Reasonable Doubt
MMLP
Blueprint
Ready to Die

Don't be pissed guys but I think the SSLP is overrated as an Em album. I'd take MMLP, TES, or some of Relapse in exchange over some of the weak tracks on SSLP.

And I'm a little confused on the comment on"where his anger went??". TES was pretty angry just listen to White America.

The Eminem Show was truly a great album. There was just something about MMLP that makes me rank it a bit above it though.

Only possibly two of the albums you listed below could be considered in the list of "Best Hip-Hop Albums of All Time". The Blueprint shouldn't be on the Top 15 list and SSLP and MMLP shouldn't be on the list either. Probably only Reasonable Doubt and Ready to Die can be on Top 10 list.

And Eminem Show is not one of the "best rap albums ever made". Not trying to sound like a hater, but comparing this album to one of the older classics is hard. This album probably wouldn't make a typical hip hop head's Top 100, no offense. The production is a little off-class and there is some filler. :smoking:

TES is my favorite Em album, MMLP comes right after that. Only reason why MMLP comes second, is that its kinda 2-way album - you have angry Marshall and crazy Shady. And thats it. TES has all kinds of songs, he rapps about lot more stuff on it than on MMLP.

Plus, I like the production on TES better.

For fucks sake, let the guy have his opinion. Nobody is sayin you'll make the right list either. This kinda stuff are always matter of choice.

And since when did Em try to make a typical hip hop album?

Who said I was trying to make a list?

For fucks sake, let me voice my own opinion, in that case then. So you're saying a user can't respond to someone else's post? If we can all keep our cool, I say why not?

You'll get used to my posts soon enough.

It's pretty well-known, but as you said

Amadeo wrote:in my humble opinion, it is crazy to say MMLP is not in the top 15 best rap albums of all time.

It's really impossible for one person to form a list of the best rap albums of ALL TIME, mainly because for the person to make such a list, it is expected that s/he has listened to EVERY SINGLE HIP-HOP ALBUM EVER to judge them all as a whole.

But, IMO, to include MMLP on the average hip hop head's top 15 is debatable.

Only way to say there's a best rap album legibly is if you actually went through every single rap record that ever existed and put them against each other, but no one has ever done that.

I'm not sure if you guys understand my point, but it's important to understand that while rating albums.
