Supposedly R2 is going to have some "shocking" lyrics, but who knows. The people that listen to the radio these days like that simple rap shit. I really can't explain because I don't listen to the radio. Just the Gucci Mane stuff or club tracks. I could be wrong, but I ain't into Soulja Boy like everybody around me is. I can't even have a conversation about music with people around me because nobody knows the artists I like and vice versa. I can't even get into Wayne anymore and since I'm from NO that's what a lot of people and especially females like. Most of the radio is just wack to me and these times of music has changed. Em may say some controversial things, but it's not new anymore.

Ithink he's referring to "Insult to Injury" where Alchemist said that Em ran with that track "Underground" and even killed it. Thats gotta be one of those shocking tracks I'm sure.

actually after all this time, I don't even think "Insult to Injury" will make the cut for R2  But I do remember Alchemist said that Em killed it, no where mentions "shocking lyrics"...

he said it was psychotic.

well psychotic doesn't necessary mean "shocking", like the song "psycho", don't find it a bit shocking at all  Besides like I said, there's posibility that it got scrapped already, like Alchemist is the only one mentions that song and it was like months ago :sweating:

Have you guys even listened to all Em albums? EVERY one has shocking lyrics, in one way or another...

You people are way too optimistic. Way I see it, he used to aim for the pop audiences, now he's goin' for the lyric lovin' fans.

Word. :y: And I've always been a junkie for great ass lyrics and super-multies, so I think I'll be satisfied with R2.

About the shocking thing I thought one of those DJ's said it. Not alchemist that other dude. I don't remember his name, but Eminem did an interview with him on his birthday. Maybe I'm wrong. I really don't care. Let me just rephrase it and say "it's going to offend some people" because I know we all heard that one.
