both Em & Jay-Z are always gaurenteed the #1 place with studio albums in the u.s., but at least Em can get to #1 in all countries worldwide which is far more important.

he isn't really comparing, he's just asking if we think eminem can surpass jay-z in the number of number one albums.

Eminem = 5 #1 albums
Jay-Z = 0

as of 10/18 Jay sold 1,116,500 copies of B3 since september 8 & Relapse dropped in May 15
sold 1.5 to date... being a black rapper doesnt effect numbers.. ok ?

Eminem has just turned 37 recently. Relapse 2 is dropping in a minute. He's got 100's of unreleased tracks and Mr Porter said he has never seen Em with a work ethic like he has now (since he was a kid)
Also Jay Z is over 40 and released a nice album whereas Em could easily do the same. To answer the question, no he wont overtake Jay Z's solo number 1's but we can expect another 3/4 albums from Eminem. Obviously, internationally and sales wise he is gonna slaughter Jigga.

Well, obviously, Eminem will sell more than Jay-Z, no matter how many albums they both release.

Naturally, people from Eminem's fan base will purposely try to buy albums to make his sales greater...

But Jay-Z rules much more of the Rap Game, so it balances out. And to answer the question, no, Eminem will never reach Jay-Z's number of #1 albums. Hov has more chart-topper records than Elvis Presley.

The whole game is fucked up sometimes.
