Okay, for starters, Eminem was MJ status in 2002, he was the biggest & most succesful artist on the planet. "Lose Yourself" is one of the most succesfull singles in history.

And Yes he is the King of Hip-Hop, there is not a single artist ever in hip-hop that can compare, maybe in the united states but we are talking worldwide here not in just one country!, his status is a million times that of any other rapper that ever excisted globally.....i'm just stating Facts.

Sooooooo the divide was created cuz of that Asian, Jamaican, scotish accent?

A switch up on his flow.

He only used that style on a few songs, I can't imagine stay wide awake/Must be the ganja without it. However, I can see why it would be disliked.

EMINEM has and always will be relevant.

want me to tell you why? because everyone knows who the FUCK he is. u mention Eminem, opinion or not, they KNOW who he is and are always up to date with his music. no matter who it is, i was surprised when i got to college. there are alot of non-em fans that know his music like the back of their hands.

and one thing that Em's done that NO artist ever has is he's changed. take relapse for example. love it or hate it, the accent was NEW. so there's no doubting his ability to change in the face of music

Dude took a five year break after releasing some of the worst shit in his career (Encore/ReUp/various Colabs around that time).

Peoples last impressions of Eminem are of a broken down wack MC.

Then he came back with Relapse, which was an album full of boring material, with an annoying accent. He had no wit. He had one good sorta personal song (Deja Vu). People don't want to listen to bullshit material in a retarded accent filled voice. They want real songs that carry a message/theme, and rapped in his own voice. Either the angry voice, or the goofy make you laugh like crazy voice. He had neither on Relapse.

What are the two songs people pick as their favorites? Beautiful despite being horrible lyrically and DejaVu.

So now peoples impressions of Eminem are of an MC who has lost his ability to craft a good, solid album from start to finish, and an MC with a boring and bland personality (Check his interviews).

Bottomline is simple, Stans. He fell off the mountain top throne, and gravity pulled his ass into the earth. He's clawing his way out, but it's slow progress. Very slow.

He's a has been.
I can't believe how fast Eminem fell off. Went from a possible Top 5 candidate to not even in the Top 50.

And he ate a mans ass live on national TV. SMH at that clown.

So wack.

Yeah he did change the face of music, his own music that is, AND IT WAS NOT GOOD, I REPEAT IT SUCKED HARD, so there is something to doubt, maybe not his ability to change, but the way it changed, every rapper can change his voice, but will it be good?no.
