theres SP, EP, LP, SLP

they're old industry terms....

back in the day artists would release singles on record and it would have one song maybe two...
thats an SP record or "short play"

an EP is "extended play" 3-8 songs on it... not a full album but not a single either

LP "long play" is todays standard album

LP and EP were mainly used for Vinyls and we know how eminem loves to rep Vinyls.. so i'm assuming thats' why he did it.

LP= Long Play (full-length album with over 8-9 songs at least usually)
EP= Extended Play (usually about 3-8 songs or so)
