Eminem also slays Jay Z in quality: did you enjoy that pop album BP3? Jay Z pu out alot of albums that can be considered good which probably blinded you with regard to "quality". Eminem has released 3 classic albums, one good one and one average one. To me, his quality output is superior while Jay Z is always out there looking to make some extra cash and is undeniably a better businessman.
Fail post. You have the most short-sighted arguments so far I've seen...
1. "Eminem slays Jay Z if u are speaking of influence"
Fail comment. Jay-Z was one of the early MCs that popularized the "Mafioso" (money cash hos) sub-genre of hip-hop. Without him, the game would be radically different. And give me one example of an artist that has switched his style after Eminem started rapping about "raping women and Slim Shady shit"?
2. "Eminem also slays Jay Z in quality: did you enjoy that pop album BP3?"
Okay, in that case, let's judge Eminem JUST by the quality of Relapse, instead of looking at his whole career. That's how idiotic your comparison is. So because you don't like his recent release, his whole catalog is bad? Are you fucking stupid or something...
3. "Jay Z pu out alot of albums that can be considered good which probably blinded you with regard to "quality". Eminem has released 3 classic albums, one good one and one average one."
Jay-Z has put out two definite classics and one that can be regarded as a classic. He has put out more than 4 other good albums and probably 1-2 average and 1-2 disappointing. Eminem has put out one classic, two fantastic, and two terrible. Reasonable Doubt > Anything Eminem will ever do/has done.
4. "always out there looking to make some extra cash and is undeniably a better businessman."
Sigh. Do your homework and come back. You don't know shit about anything that's going on, sorry.![]()
Your post was fail. Word up. No facts at all.

EminemIVLife wrote:You clearly believe that you are right and frankly I dont give a crap what you think. I know Eminem is more influential than Jay Z in terms of music period and sales are the best indication of that. You are using points about Eminem not being copied as an indication that he is not influential: thats stupid and shortsighted coz no-one can emulate Eminem because he is the most unique and technically diverse rapper in the world. Of course other rappers would find it easier to copy Jay-Z's style: it usually fits in with their boastful and materialistic mindsets. You have no special insight into hip-hop that distinguishes you from anyone else and you have failed in your attempt to convince me that Jay Z is more influential (espeically with regards to a musical artist {not a trend}
Oh and I see you think Relapse is terrible (as bad as Encore) You fail right there too lil bitch. Relapse is better than American Gangster and Kingdom Come and Blueprint 3. Eminem Show is better than Reasonable Doubt (to me) and MMLP and SSLP are superb albums to me equally the likes of Blueprint and the Black Album.

EminemIVLife wrote:Eminem deserves the HOF nod over Jay Z for a whole lot of reasons
1) True international artist who goes number 1 across the world at will
2) Highest selling rap album 1st week sales of all time
3) Best selling artist of the decade prior (likely nomination will come in 2019)
4) Came up legit not using the legacy of any other rapper to help get ahead.
5) Never got ethered
6) Acted (well) in a critically acclaimed film giving international focus on his art-form
7) Flow has changed over the course of every album and every album brings a different element (technically and flow-wise)
8) Em helped make 50 Cent a genuine superstar (for a period at least)more popular than any artist Jay Z tried to make.
9) Eminem didnt over-saturate himself and put his name on all of these different ventures, but stayed focused on the music (what the R&RHOF should focus on on)
10) He's just all round better than Jay-Z come on now. There are a few emcees that would give Eminem a run for his money in a battle or a song but Jay isnt one of them.
