No, he's not. Not even near. Judgin by the talk of the whole rap community, Pac is considered God Of Rap. Is Eminem considered a GOR? I dont thinks so, at least not as much as Pac. So that means Pac is way more overrated. IMO, Rakim and Nas deserve more props than Pac. Lot more. But thats just me.

But in the community of Eminem fans, people act as if there is no rapper with more skills than Eminem. Its not how many people are his fans, but the people who are his fans worship him. Plus there are Rock fans who worship Eminem, all the suburban white kids. Just because Eminem is white. Eminem is similar to alot of rappers, but he blew up, and the others didn't, so yeah, Eminem is overrated to the extent Pac is, if not more.

Take a look at this. Community of hardcore Eminem fans think of him as the greatest. You're totally right about that. But thats it. People who think that way are strictly inside that circle.

On the other hand, lets take a look at people who's favorite rapper is Ice Cube or Nas or Grandmaster Flash or Rakim or KRS or any other bigshot of old school rap. Most of them will say that rapper X is their favorite rapper, but 2pac is still the greatest. The king.

Thats the difference. Most peeps who's favorite rapper is Eminem, also think of him as the greatest. And lotta peeps who's fav rapper is any rapper except Pac and Em, they think of Pac as the greatest.

I think tupac is(well, was) a great rapper
I think SOME people overrate him, but only because they say: Oh Tupac Is God, Never will be someone like him, or all dat shit but people who think that tupac is the best are not overestimating him
But think, there are a lot of diferents musical tastes, so for me the best is Eminem
like for other people the best is Tupac,lil wayne(yes,there are people who think that Lil wayne is the best ) ,biggie,etc u kno?

Yeah he's talented, but that doesn't change the fact he's overrated. Was the same with Tupac. There are very few musicians i know of who can make a whole album that talks about the same shit on every song (except a couple) and have it be praised as amazing and sell some of the highest units of the year.

And you can't compare them, cause they tackle completely different subject matter in their music.

If Tupac were alive he would probably just laugh at you all for being so obsessed with who's better.

Pac was above-average for his era, but he IS overrated. He was a poet, as a lyricist he wasn't special most of the time. He did have moments of greatness though.

Never, which is sad.. Eminem would think it's a joke to be comparing him to Tupac (even though Eminem's music appeals to me more). They're both overrated, like someone already mentioned. They are overrated because fans try to put them on a pedestal that doesn't exist (best rapper ever, top ten rapper, etc.).

I'm a big 2Pac fan, well in fact 2Pac is my favorite rapper. I still have to admit that 2Pac may be a little overrated but then again, no wonder why so many people like him. I just don't get tired of 2Pac's music, I used to think the same thing about Eminem's cause I would listen to him every single day, that ain't the case anymore. Who's better? I do have my favorite out of them but who's actually better? It just depends, if we're talking from an emcee's point of view you can tell Eminem is better. And I'm ending here, I ain't bothered to carry on.
