How long does marijuana stay in your system? (Blood test)

This question is very common, I know. I have looked on google for a bit and I've got the answer on "it depends how much you've smoked,etc." I'm having a blood test in less than a week and I'm a bit concerned about marijuana being detected. I had some yesterday and it was maybe a whole joint but that's it. I doubt I did anymore. My system was perfectly clean before that so, how long do you think my system will take to clear up? I'd just like some estimations cause I have no idea. And also another question, what is the best method to get rid of it the quickest?

It isn't actually for a job, I need to have a blood analysis for a treatment I'm having so that the doctor can see that everything is all right and nothing is going wrong. The doctor will get the results and I'll go and have to see her. So really it isn't as much of a big thing but still... I was thinking that maybe if the doctors aren't even looking for drugs but for levels of fat and stuff like that then they won't even notice it but that's just wishing really.

a friend of mine wanted to work in a hospital and you get checked before you are given the job. he smokes weed, drinks very often and he got through. he worked there for over a year now.

I got drug tested 2 days after smoking two joints and I came out fine. It was a urine test so this story won't help.

But since your hopeless, drink tons of water. It's what saved my ass that day.

Working out, or any other kind os sports does the trick as well. Drinking water and sweating it out will cleans ya system.

Yeah I heard about that too. I've worked out a bit today and tomorrow I got a basketball match so I'ma sweat as hell.
